Each 2-hour session costs £35 per child payable in advance to Stoke Lane Stables. This includes riding and stable management. Please note, in the event of inclement weather, riding may not go ahead but stable management will - this will have no reduction in rate. The Yard Manager will advise in the event of cancellation and any payments made will be refunded.
A new rider needs a 1-hour assessment lesson which costs £25. This will enable the instructor to correctly determine which group(s) would be suitable for the rider.
We ask that you let us know in good time if you are unable to make a session. However, you will still be charged if it is less than 48 hours notice.
Yes - due to the amount of riders and the amount of horses, there is a limit of how many riders can attend at one time. This is at the Yard Manager’s discretion. Depending on your child’s prior experience, the wait should not be too long. Bookings in school holidays, for example, would be a good time to start as there will be more availability. Please email Kate if you are interested in your child starting lessons.
