We are fully covered with comprehensive Combined Liability Riding School Insurance comprising of Public Liability up to £2,000,000 and Care, Custody & Control which covers working liveries at the yard used for lessons, ground work, grooming and clipping.
Kate also possesses Freelance Riding Instructor Insurance which includes Public Liability, Care, Custody and Control (including grooming and clipping) for any teaching outside of the yard.
In addition to both of these, Kate is a Gold Member of The British Horse Society (BHS) who provide Public Liability Insurance and Personal Accident cover for Kate and anyone who rides her horse(s) with her permission whilst she is present for recreational purposes. For example, a helper who has a ride in lieu of payment.

Riding horses and working with horses is inherently dangerous. It is strongly recommended to have your own riders’ insurance in place for your child. Not only does this cover them in case of serious injury (or worse) at Stoke Lane Stables, this also gives you peace of mind with them riding elsewhere. We highly recommend The Insurance Emporium for fantastic premiums of around £3 a month.
The insurance certificates are permanently on display on the main yard noticeboard in the barn and office.
