🐴 Self-Employed Riding Instructor Wanted 🐴

Location: Stoke Lane Stables, Bayford, Wincanton.
Hours: Weekends 10am–4pm (mornings and/or afternoons – alternate weekends if required; fully flexible)
Start date: Immediate

We’re looking for a motivated, friendly, and professional riding instructor to join our busy yard on a self-employed basis.

You’ll be teaching riders of all ages and abilities, helping them to develop confidence, correct technique, and a genuine love for horses. Our ethos is about developing equestrians, not just riders.

The most important quality we’re looking for is someone who can enthuse and stay positive with all clients, maintaining the ethos and values of our riding school at all times.

Requirements:

• Qualified and insured instructor (training can be given)

• Confident teaching children and adults

• Reliable, professional, and physically fit

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Shares our commitment to horse welfare and safety

• Current First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to complete an enhanced DBS check

• Full driving licence desirable
